Keep on Truckin’ With the 2020 GMC Sierra 1500
As a reliable provider of new GMC cars near Bensalem, Faulkner Buick GMC Trevose understands the onus of any reputable truck manufacturer is to deliver on functionality and intuitive design. The 2020 Sierra 1500 does just that by being mechanically similar to Chevrolet’s Silverado, yet different inside and out. It comes with a broad range of engine options, including a turbocharged four-cylinder, a turbodiesel inline-six, and two V-8’s.
2020’s Vision
The turbodiesel engine and the carbon-fiber bed, included in the 2019 model, are now more widely available for the new Sierra. A 10-speed automatic transmission is an option as well. While it was previously only available with the top 6.2-liter V-8, it can now be had with the 5.3-liter V-8 as well. Some new features include adaptive cruise control, trailer-tow mirrors, and a trailer-tow camera system. Buyers have the option of selecting between a few different cab configurations and bed lengths depending on their specific needs. All-wheel drive is also available.
From Bed to Tow
The half-ton GMC pickup can tow up to 12,200 pounds and support a payload of up to 2,240 pounds. Here’s a quick list of some featured highlights of this year’s new vehicle:
